So last Saturday (6th February 2010) I met up with Joshua Lim and Qiaoyan. Funny how fate works its magic, the world really is small. The whole reason I got reconnected with Joshua was because he moved to Suzhou, China in Secondary 2. And I got to know Joshua Tan via Joshua Lim. And I got to know Qiaoyan through Joshua Tan. And when Qiaoyan moved back to Singapore she ended up at my tuition class.
So Joshua Lim came back on the 5th and we went out on the 6th. Two years in China and he's forgotten how to navigate around Singapore already. It was a nice day. I also learnt that there's no age limit for consuming alcohol in China (I really didn't know that, did you?). When I first called him to ask "Eh where are you," he spoke back in a deep voice and it was just so weird. I can still remember how squeaky his voice used to be, like in P4 when I got to know him and in Sec 1 when I last met him. After Sec 1 I never saw him again. That is, until last Saturday. Most surprising of all, he spoke to me with an English/American accent!! He says it's because mostly angmohs live around his neighbourhood.
We met Qiaoyan at Jurong Point, and then we went to eat at MOS Burger. Here are some photos of Joshua:

It was nice catching up and everything. He flew back to Suzhou yesterday. Have fun back at your school and last long with Angela! =)
Went for "training" yesterday with Cheowyi, Xiaochen and Jeslynn. Love it when Mr Fong's in the range because you can just take the attendance and mark your attendance even if you don't actually train... LOL. (To be fair we didn't train cos there were no lanes when we got there!! And I don't know who took my gun.) I sat next to Mr Fong at the tables and I heard him humming happily to himself.
Spent my recess today with Kaiwen. We always walk around looking for a table to have our food but we always end up at the same table!!
Remedial and meeting after school, then went for prata.
P/S
Today we were supposed to have an SBQ test in class, the guys took the stack of test papers and stowed it somewhere. When Mr Fong stepped into class and told us to get ready for the test, they started slamming the tables and chanting "Postpone! (slam table x2) Postpone! (slam table x2)" the way they always do HAHA.
I believe this is something we will all miss when we graduate, even if our class is not that bonded :)
