Last night I waited till the clock was inching towards midnight before allowing myself to pull out the mattresses, and then I lied down. Whilst I lied level on the mattresses and waited for time to go even closer to midnight I read through the remnants of what used to be.
I cried. It was bad, the kind where you sob and your breathing gets raspy and choppy. My eyes got dry from crying. I read and cried and listened to Moon Crying, When I'm With You and I'm Done all at the same time. And then it was time and I texted you to wish you a happy birthday before throwing my phone aside. I hugged my Hello Kitty and then the crying resumed...
Last Saturday we did Flag Day! We weren't assigned to any specific groups. We took the train to Bukit Batok, the area we were assigned to. Sally's distinctive mannerisms were annoying me, as usual. I avoided hanging out with her, Zhixian and Jiaying. Nothing against Zhixian and Jiaying though. I hung out with Christine, Jayda, Elycia and Jovin.
Went to eat breakfast at McDonalds' with Christine, Jayda, Elycia and Jovin. Jovin watched us eat. So after that Elycia and Jayda decided to start asking for donations, but Christine, Jovin and I went into West Mall to walk around and slack. We ended up at the Kopitiam and sat down and talked over drinks. Jovin told us about this cigarette that seems quite cool (not that I am going to try it). We gossiped about some other stuff too.
Elycia and Jayda came to look for us after a while and they had their lunch while I watched them. Christine and I decided to go ask for donations after that, because the amount in our tin cans were seriously pathetic at that point of time (35c, which we put in ourselves). I think when we returned the cans there was still very little in it, but at least it's passable, I guess.
Today after school Shinan treated Cheowyi and I to a meal at McDonalds'. People keep eating at McDonalds nowadays because of the Monopoly thing. I almost died eating the "hottest chick in town", aka the McSpicy. It was actually a MegaMac but I took out one of the patties. Made me extremely bloated. Thanks anyway, Shinan. (Not like he'd see this)
So we have Chinese O'levels tomorrow! Nervous, fearful that I won't be able to grab that A1 or A2 to enable me to go on with Higher Chinese next year. Yet this apprehension is not enough to scare me into moving my ass off my computer chair to go start memorising the format for the formal letters. Tch I'm horrible.
If I was slim(mer) and had a better complexion, I'd be happier with my physical appearance.
