Felt a little happy at the end of today, the I-should-start-being-happy kind of happiness. Is this what optimism is? I don't think this mood will last very long. (The irony: I am feeling pessimistic about how long I'll feel optimistic.)
ZLS was surprisingly nice to me, I was rather shocked. Was shocked she did not scream at me when I called her back in the morning. But still I owe her so much work and argh ): And then there's A Maths and History to do too.
Benedict said today that he heard from Mr. Fong that there'll be a high chance that Ms. Cheong will be teaching us next year; I really hope this is the case.
A small compliment can go a really long way and I guess that's what brought my day up a little. And according to Benedict I am still in the Top 15 in class (at least?), despite having failed three subjects this term. Another shocker. Not that it's a huge achievement since our class isn't that good at all, but still it's always encouraging to see a nice number on my report card.
It's been raining, and I like it.
Cheowyi should not retain, NICHOLAS GUAN should retain. :((((((((( Because Nicholas doesn't study at all. Stupid.
I'm feeling dizzy again. I wasted an hour (or more?) doing up the Prefects' Attendance for the year. Time which should have been spent on completing my overdue homework. I seriously hope Mdm Yee appreciates my effort. Ever since the whole going-out-of-school incident, it just seems like she has a bad impression of me and she barely even listens to me at all during meetings. Damn it.
I altered Yi Hong's attendance by a little. His overall attendance for the year should have been 74.7%, but I changed it to 75%. Yes I'm biased towards him. But still, I think it's unfair that other people whom interest and commitment to the Council are rapidly declining (as seen from their attendance in recent terms) have a higher overall attendance, just because they had a higher attendance in the first semester. I mean, so what? It only proves to me that you enjoyed being under the tutelage of the previous batch. And I believe in consistency. If you are losing commitment to the Council just because of a new batch, AND you are showing it in your attitude and attendance, then you really don't deserve to be in the Council at all.
I believe Yi Hong is committed. He may not extremely enthusiastic, but I would like to give him a chance. We'll see how it goes. Next year I will not help him with his attendance again. We'll see if I even need to help him with his attendance at all. If he does, then I guess it just shows he isn't committed (enough).
It's always such a headache doing attendance and duty lists - there are so many Prefects in Sec 2 and it's damn troublesome.
A PostSecret for today:

Time for homework.
