Today Zhixian and I were rather exasperated during Physics. We got our results back and then afterwards 3S5 came in to the AVA Room with us for a combined class (typical Mr Loh trying to cut down on lesson time as usual). So we were doing our corrections while Mr Loh started giving out the papers to the people from 3S5, announcing the names of those who scored A1 and above.
After a while this guy whom I'm going to call HL 牛奶, got his paper and sat down next to Sean, who was sitting next to Zhixian. I was sitting next to Zhixian. So the arrangement was like this:
HL 牛奶 | Sean | Zhixian | Me
And then Zhixian heard HL 牛奶 sighing and saying to Sean, "我刚刚 pass 而已," so naturally we thought he scored maybe fifty-something.
He proceeded to say, "我考到 75 分." !!!!!
Went to buy bubble tea with Zhixian after school and headed over to KFC to eat.
We got back a lot of papers today, I'm very disappointed in my AMaths Paper :( I'd thought I would at least pass. Kind of upset because I was depending largely on my EMaths and Amaths. And I practiced so much for AMaths!! I'm horrified that people like Hong Zheng still can score an A1 for a paper like this?!?!?!
For English I am disappointed only because I didn't get an A :( And the essay, because it was just crap. I guess I am rather pleased with Paper 2 though.
I'd predicted I would fail Physics and Chemistry (which I did) and I thought I would do pretty badly for SS and Elective History so I wasn't really counting on them. I saw my SS's SBQ score and it was BAD. But thankfully Elective History came out as a huge surprise, didn't expect to get what I did because I thought I'd done horribly.
Am upset with the fact that we have to take a retest. It is so unfair, everyone who fails has to take it and that sucks :( They should just get the people who're like, the bottom 5% or something to take it!!!!
I will work hard(er) next year. I guess I put in effort but I was fully aware that it was not my best yet.
The school year is coming to an end but it doesn't feel like it at all.
I fell asleep at 2 AM last night and woke up 4 hours later for school. Having had such little sleep, I am now "blessed" with nature's own brand of eyeshadow - dark eye rings.
