Here's a list of my Top 10 Favourite Female Celebrities. I wanted to include male celebrities as well but then I realised I didn't have much male celebrities that I liked. Here it goes.
10. Fergie

I like her mainly because of her songs Big Girls Don't Cry and Pedestal. I especially like Pedestal because she wrote it to laugh at Perez Hilton. And I hate Perez Hilton; he's stupid and irritating and proud and everything. I dislike him not because he's gay though. So Fergie wrote the song to poke fun at him and that was really awesome.
9. Reese Witherspoon

I've only started to take note of Reese Witherspoon lately, because I just watched Legally Blonde 2 a week back, I think, and it was great. I love her portrayal of Elle Woods and Elle Woods is such a sweet and inspiring character. As weird as it may sound but watching Legally Blonde makes me really happy because Elle Woods is such an optimistic and amazing character. And Reese Witherspoon has managed to have a lot of input into the character, being the Executive Producer of the movie and all. So there's the link.
8. Katy Perry

Why do I like her? Because she's cute!!! I love her style.
7. Aragaki Yui (新垣結衣)

Unlike most celebrities, Aragaki Yui is shy and introverted, which somehow makes her really relatable (at least to me). Her shyness makes her cute and I liked her in Koizora. She also sang Heavenly Days which I really like, although there was falsetto and everything but I think it's still a pretty great song.
6. YUI (Yoshioka Yui)

I love her songs. Her tenacity is an added plus - she dropped out of school to work towards her singing career. She knew she had to overcome her shyness in order to become a successful musician and she started performing in the streets to build up her confidence. Did you know YUI doesn't like to smile in photos? Because she says it makes her cheeks look chubbier and she doesn't like it. Me too!!!!!! LOL
5. Drew Barrymore

The first movie I've caught Drew Barrymore in was Charlie's Angels. I've liked her since then although out of the three lead actresses she was my least favourite. I thought she looked old. I only started to really like her after I've watched Music & Lyrics. I went to take a look at her page on Wikipedia and that's when I found out that she used to be a wild child and was really rebellious. But she started to change and took control of her life and I think that's really admirable.
4. Britney Spears

I cannot really understand why so many people dislike her. People don't understand what she goes through and that's really stupid. We all make stupid mistakes and imagine having your mistakes magnified and pasted all over the tabloids and internet. It's super embarrassing.
Britney Spears cannot go shopping because the paparazzi will stalk her, take hundreds of photos and fire thousands of questions. And don't say that it's normal for that to happen to a celebrity because it's not - Jessica Alba can go shopping and no one would say anything but why is everyone following Britney Spears? Sometimes I think people should give her some peace.
And also, Britney Spears is a really talented artiste. People shouldn't forget that.
3. Zooey Deschanel

Zooey Deschanel is so sweet!!!!!!!!!! I like her even though I've never seen any of her work. My liking towards her is completely and utterly biased.
I'm going to watch (500) Days of Summer, and she's the lead actress in that one. Label me excited!
2. Cameron Diaz

I think she's gorgeous. Does she look like a 37-year-old? I think she looks ten years younger than she actually is.
Like Drew Barrymore, I first laid my eyes on Cameron Diaz when she acted in Charlie's Angels alongside Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu. She was my favourite out of the three and still is! I think Cameron Diaz is the perfect definition for glamorous. My Sister's Keeper is one of her movies that has recently been released. Excited.
1. Lindsay Lohan

I like Lindsay Lohan a lot. Though it doesn't mean I necessarily agree with what she does. I don't like that she smokes, takes drugs, and winds herself up in prison. Sometimes I feel like shaking her and asking her, "What the hell are you doing to yourself???" She is so talented and it's such a pity to see her ruin her own life :( But I guess it is her life and no one else really has the right to tell her what to do except for herself. I am really hoping she'll start taking control of herself and make a turn towards the right path, just like Drew Barrymore did. I've been an ardent supporter of Lindsay Lohan since I was... I think 10, so I really really hope her life will change for the better.
And you can't say that Lindsay Lohan isn't talented. She is!! I just like to think that her career choices aren't that wise.
My favourite Lindsay Lohan movie is Mean Girls.
Initially, I'd wanted to include some members of the cast from Memoirs of a Geisha into this list but then I realised that my liking towards Zhang Ziyi has waned ever since all the scandals about her started popping up. I still like her though, just not as much as the 10 I've stated above. Gong Li and Michelle Yeoh are kind of nice too I guess but they didn't leave that strong of an impression on me.
I also wanted to include Audrey Hepburn. But I didn't because... Yeah she's dead. :/
