For this moment let's all think about this question.
"What is happiness to you?"
For me, happiness means a lot of things.
It isn't the kind where I get good results. I do feel happy when I see As on my report card, knowing that I worked hard for them, but I'd consider it more of a sense of satisfaction as compared to happiness.
I'm referring to happiness at the purest, truest state. It may not be flawlessly beautiful, but we've got to learn to see it for its humble beauty, not discolour it or think about it in an ideal form. Because then, it wouldn't be genuine anymore.
Happiness for me, is:
- Being with the people I love (almost) wholeheartedly
- Helping people
- When I hug people I like
- Strolling in the rain
- The warm feeling when good memories swirl back into my heart
- Writing my feelings down
- Being free to do whatever I like
