Have a few topics to talk about today, so I'm starting with this first.
Today I read my P6 Journal. Well Ms. Loh was my form and English teacher so she was the one giving all the comments and such. Sometimes when I'm bored I'll open the journal and flip through it, remembering the past, my old handwriting (which seems kind of kiddy to me now, but I thought it was really good back then. Obviously my sense of style and recognition isn't good.).
Then I read this part, about how I missed my childhood life, because it was so carefree and all I had to worry about was whether I did my homework or not. And that I used to keep a diary, and then I didn't anymore. So there's this part where Ms. Loh tells me not to stop writing, because writing is actually a record of your life, and that those memories are invaluable. Then she went on to tell me she actually enjoyed reading my journal.
It was a total encouragement to me.
So whenever I feel like closing down my blog, or something, I think I'll just find the diary and flip it open to that page. And read whatever is on it, again.
In this post, I said that I got a witch for a teacher. All I can say now as I look back is that, I was terribly immature and stupid. By now I'm sure you already know the 'witch teacher' I was referring to was Ms. Loh. Obviously, I was immature. How old was I back then, just-turned-11? I mean yeah, now I'm 12-going-13, and to be exact it's only about two years of difference. But still.
We all used to think that Ms. Loh was fierce, and that she sometimes is unreasonable. Okay maybe sometimes she is fierce, but that's only because we weren't serious. So to be right, we were the ones at fault. Just now when I was bathing (back from Ninja-do), it was then I noticed something, rather comical.
Actually, the way she and Andrew shouts are quite similar.
Seriously! I mean, of course, their cause for shouting are different. But in a way, the way it sounds, is rather the same. Anyway, let's not sidetrack. Back to Ms. Loh.
Whenever Ms. Loh shouted, it made our class unhappy most of the times. But sometimes, it actually made us laugh. Like that time, when we stayed back for Supplementary. Ivan ran up the stairs like oh-my-God-ishly fast that when she got back to class, she yelled, "IVAN! RUN SO FAST AH! I SAY DON'T RUN ALREADY RIGHT?! NEXT TIME MAKE YOU CARRY OTHER PEOPLE UP THE STAIRS AH!"
LOL.
So then I tried to, to the furthest dexterity of my memory, remember how, when, and why Ms. Loh shouted. I remember how she shouts. Sometimes it stills replays in my brain. I think she's getting to me, HAHA.
If you listen carefully, whenever Ms. Loh scolds us, it's not just anger and unhappiness in her voice. Listen closely, there are bits of sarcasm in it, sometimes. When she's a bit happy, there's humour.
But all the times, there's something we miss. And only today, have I realised that it was there. I just never realised it before.
In her voice, there are pieces of care. Care, and love a teacher has for her students. And now I know, Ms. Loh is a good teacher. She is definitely not a 'witch teacher'. :)
