Poor Shirley and Jesmond had to skip grading this time, like me!
Shirley twisted her ankle,
Jesmond was sick.

Awwww.
Shirley still went to have a look, I went to babysit my brother. :\
Hopefully Shirley's ankle will heal in time for August's grading. :D

Today's grading was sort of scary, Shirley and I were mostly looking at the brownbelts, namely Justina, Jason and Nicholas.
MYGOSH,
Jason and Nicholas' sparring,
was scary!
Justina broke 2 out of 3 planks,
Jason broke 3 out of 3 tiles,
&
Nicholas broke 2 out of 3 tiles.
:D GOOD JOB, YAYS.
However, Nicholas cut his toe when breaking the tile. His seemed to be in a lot of pain when Jason-sir applied antiseptic for him.
Justina sparred with Gek Swee, followed by Yayan in the next round.
Jason sparred with Nicholas, and Jason sparred with this Malay blackbelt.
One word - horrifying.
Jason barely kicked at all, that blackbelt was really fast.
Like, swoosh. D:
Shirley wanted to see how the blackbelts sparred and she could barely analyse his movements.
Jason could hardly fight back, he only gave a few turning kicks time to time. That blackbelt's sweep kick was so, so pro. One swoosh and you will fall.
Then first Nicholas sparred with Jason. The spar was rather normal, kicks and punches. Not anything like Jason's spar with the blackbelt. However, Nicholas injured his back. One of the blackbelt helped him made it better, by standing back to back and pulling Nicholas. Damn, Nicholas looked like he was gonna die, seriously.
Okay, next, Nicholas sparred with another Malay, who was also a blackbelt. He was also damn pro. Nicholas did some kind of kick, a jumping one, but I couldn't see clearly what, and I was like, "Wah~" But he didn't hit his target at all, that blackbelt dodged out of the way. The blackbelt didn't do Nicholas so badly as what happened to Jason, I guess maybe that's because Nicholas injured his back so he went a bit easy on him.
Nicholas and Jason's sparring was so scary!
I think Jason is gonna get the black gi. :/
The brownbelts all looked like they were dying during the grading. They survived though. I guess their hard work paid off. :D

If my brother passes his grading, he will be a purplebelt like me. Dammit, I'm gonna make sure he doesn't catch up with me. From now on I'm going to focus during ninja-do, because ninja-do is something I'm really interested in, it's my passion. I'll plug in all my senses and concentrate. Because I really wanna get my blackbelt soon. :D

Oh yes, on an extra note, good luck to Shirley, who has to dance for SYF tomorrow!
