Every morning when my father drop me off at the junction near by school, I will walk to school.

When I walk to school, I will always see this cat.
This cat is rather plump. It has orange, black and white fur. It is also stained by dirt, so the white parts of its fur were dirty and slightly brownish. It is a stray cat after all.

Today the cat was grooming itself, licking its body fur with its small, pink tongue.

Once during lesson we were talking about idioms. We got to the idiom, 'living a dog's life'. She went on to explain that 'living a dog's life' meant living a hard and tough life.

I don't exactly agree with that.

I mean, look at that cat. Okay, it's a cat but let's say if it was a dog.
It lives in the wild, it has to find food itself. It has to fend for itself.

But it's happy. (:

It's a stray, but it's carefree. It has freedom. It can go anywhere it want to.
Yeahs, people can never be like this. Not an animal of course! But what I mean is, people can never be as carefree as the cat is.

Even if you're a baby, from young you'll be taught by your parents to talk, etc. etc.
I mean, animals do too but after that they're all on their own.

Well they say a dog's life is miserably tough.
No.

Look at... my dog.
Everyday, sleep & eat.
To her,
sleep & eat = happiness

An animal's life can be very, very fun & carefree.
So I think that we should give that idiom a closer look.
'Leading a human's life' is accurate. Because being a human has too many restrictions.
& we'll never eternally be carefree. :/

ohno I'm going emo again.
